Starting February 1985, the Insurance Commission will hold walk-in testing for insurance agent examination applicants every Tuesday and Thursday, requiring specific documents and fees, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Authority and place of testing

  • The Insurance Commission conducts the walk-in tests.
  • Walk-in tests are held at the premises of the Insurance Commission Building.

When walk-in tests occur

  • Walk-in tests are conducted every Tuesday and Thursday.
  • The testing hours are 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. only.
  • The circular applies to applicants who will walk in for the insurance agent examinations during these scheduled times.

Walk-in applicant processing limits

  • Walk-in applicants are processed on a first come first served basis due to limited space.

Required submission documents

  • Walk-in applicants must submit or present a Certificate of good moral character.
  • Walk-in applicants must submit a sworn statement that they have been trained in the kind of insurance contemplated in the licensed desired.
  • Naturalized citizens must submit a Xerox copy of naturalization papers and present the original copy for verification.
  • Walk-in applicants must submit two (2) identical 1x1 head photographs recently taken.
  • Walk-in applicants must submit identification card/papers.

Examination fees and required payment

  • Upon admission, the walk-in applicant must pay an examination fee of P20.00.
  • Upon admission, the walk-in applicant must pay a walk-in fee of P30.00.
  • Payment is required as a condition for admission to the walk-in testing schedule.
