These Terms govern your use of Jur.ph, a legal research service operated by Jurisprudence Website Application Services. By using Jur, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms or cannot legally enter into this agreement, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information is handled.
Jur provides access to Philippine legal materials and research tools, including search, digests, timelines, related sources, and AI-assisted features. Features and limits may vary by plan. The access described at checkout applies for the duration of your paid plan, except where changes are reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, abuse prevention, or service integrity.
Some features require an account. Keep your account information accurate, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Jur is intended primarily for users in the Philippines. We may restrict access by location when reasonably necessary for legal compliance or security. If this prevents paid access for reasons unrelated to your breach, available remedies under these Terms still apply.
Paid plans are prepaid, one-time purchases. They do not renew automatically, and you will not be charged automatically. The plan, price, duration, and access described at checkout apply to your purchase. Access to paid features ends when the plan expires unless you manually purchase another plan.
Payments are not refundable solely because you change your mind after paid access has been delivered. If paid access is not delivered, if the service is defective or does not match what was represented, or if you otherwise qualify for a remedy under applicable law, you may request repair, replacement, a refund, or another available remedy. Jur supports legal research and case comprehension. It provides research information, not legal advice, legal opinions, or representation. Use of Jur does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship. Do not use Jur as a channel for confidential legal communications or assume that research queries, prompts, or generated responses are protected by attorney-client privilege. Use professional judgment and consult a qualified lawyer for advice about a specific matter.
Jur's digests, summaries, timelines, and all other analytical outputs are AI-generated. They may omit important context, rely on outdated information, misstate authority, or include inaccurate citations. Verify important information against the Full Text and current official primary sources. You remain responsible for decisions and work based on research obtained through Jur.
You are responsible for using analytical outputs consistently with the professional and academic integrity rules that apply to you.
Do not submit nonpublic personal information, sensitive personal data, privileged or client-confidential material, restricted examination or academic content, or anything you lack authority to provide. You are responsible for materials you provide through Jur.
Advanced analytical features like Ask AI (case-specific questions) and Semantic Search involve significant computational resources. To maintain service quality, we reserve the right to set reasonable usage limits. These limits help prevent abuse and preserve access for all users.
Use Jur only as intended and within applicable account and usage limits. You must not evade those limits, interfere with the service, use automated means to extract content at scale or bypass access controls, redistribute Jur's proprietary material without permission, or use the service unlawfully or to violate another person's rights. This does not restrict lawful use of publicly available laws, decisions, or official materials.
Publicly available laws, decisions, and official materials retain their existing legal status. Jur or its licensors own the software, branding, design, organization, and original proprietary material provided through the service. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Jur for your own study, research, or professional work under these Terms.
Jur is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service. Maintenance, technical failures, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control may affect access.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, nonpayment, unlawful conduct, abuse, or a specific security risk. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, comply with the law, or protect the security of the service.
To the extent permitted by law, Jur is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service, and Jur's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Jur during the twelve months immediately preceding the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Philippine law governs these Terms. Disputes may be brought before a court, regulator, or other authority with jurisdiction. For service or payment complaints covered by applicable law, first use our internal redress process by contacting us at . This does not limit non-waivable rights or deadlines.

We may revise these Terms and will publish the updated version and its effective date. For material changes, we will also provide notice through Jur. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree, stop using the service.
If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
