By accessing or using Jur.ph ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please immediately stop using the Service.
Some features of the Service require a user account. Please register with accurate and complete information, and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account—let us know immediately if you notice any unauthorized access.
Your account is strictly for personal use and is limited to two devices. These can be any combination of phones, tablets, desktops, or laptops. Keep one login per device to avoid counting as multiple devices (see details below). This setup helps you stay safely within the device limit.
To maintain your account in good standing, you must adhere to the two-device usage limit and refrain from sharing your login credentials. We monitor usage patterns to ensure compliance. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Jur.ph provides analytical tools—including digests, summaries, timelines, and AI features—designed specifically for deep case comprehension. Each tool focuses on a single case to ensure accuracy and context. These are analytical aids that help you understand cases systematically before diving into full texts, not shortcuts or quick answers. They remain supplementary tools that cannot replace professional legal judgment.
We understand the pressure of digest requirements and the mountain of cases you need to read. Our analytical tools are designed to accelerate your comprehension—providing context and structure that makes reading full cases more efficient and meaningful. However, these tools are NOT meant to replace your own work for class requirements. Professors assign case digests because crafting your own analysis develops the critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills essential for legal practice.
Submitting our analytical outputs as your own work for recitations, case digests, or any academic requirement is plagiarism and violates your law school's honor code. More importantly, it undermines your development of analytical reasoning—the very skill that transforms information into persuasive legal arguments. Use our tools to build comprehension, then craft your own analysis. Remember: the Bar Exam tests your ability to analyze cases independently, not to retrieve quick answers. Users are solely responsible for any academic sanctions resulting from misuse.
Follow this systematic approach to build comprehensive case understanding:
Digest & Summary → Timeline → Jurisprudence → Ask AI → Q&A → Similar
This systematic approach accelerates true comprehension. By building context first, you'll read full cases faster and retain more. You're training your analytical reasoning—the skill that matters most in legal practice.
Remember: successful legal practice depends not on retrieving quick answers, but on developing the analytical reasoning that transforms information into persuasive arguments. Each case you analyze this way strengthens your ability to think like a lawyer.
Always engage with full cases, especially for major doctrines and landmark decisions. The comprehension skills you build through this structured approach will serve you throughout your legal career.
By using our analytical tools, you understand and accept that: (a) all outputs may contain errors or miss nuances despite focusing on single cases; (b) you must verify information against original sources; (c) you assume all risks from relying on our analytical content; and (d) Jur.ph is not liable for any academic, professional, or legal consequences from your use. We provide analytical tools to enhance comprehension; proper application remains your responsibility.
While our case-specific approach minimizes errors, all analytical content comes with NO WARRANTIES, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Your professors, the Bar, and future clients expect thorough legal understanding—use our tools to build, not bypass, that competence.
Jur.ph is an analytical platform for understanding legal cases, designed for legal professionals and students. We provide tools for systematic case analysis and comprehension, not legal advice or general AI assistance. The Service does not create attorney-client relationships or provide legal representation. Users must exercise professional judgment and verify all information against primary sources.
Users can disable analytical features in their preferences to access pure legal texts. In this mode, you have direct access to full-text documents and search functionality without any analytical assistance. This option supports traditional research methods while maintaining access to our comprehensive case database.
Advanced analytical features like Ask AI (case-specific questions) and Semantic Search involve significant computational resources. To maintain quality service for all users, we reserve the right to set reasonable usage limits. These limits prevent abuse while ensuring everyone can benefit from deep case analysis capabilities.
All payments are one-time prepaid transactions with no automatic renewals or hidden recurring charges. We accept GCash, Maya, and QR Ph (via bank apps).
