Privacy Policy

Jur.ph respects your privacy and complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Our Privacy Commitment

We are committed to keeping your data private and under your control:

  • Search Queries: Stay private. Never stored or tracked.
  • Conversations: Stay private. Never stored on our servers.
  • Anonymized Processing: Any searches or conversations that need to be processed by our trusted third-party services are anonymized before being transmitted, ensuring they cannot be linked to your identity.

Information We Collect

We collect only essential information to provide our legal research services:

  • Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a User ID (UID), which is a unique identifier that distinguishes your account from others. We do not store passwords. Authentication and credential security are handled entirely by Google.
  • Technical Information: We automatically collect your IP address and browser user agent for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement purposes.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain our legal research platform
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Prevent abuse and ensure platform security
  • Comply with legal obligations

How We Process Your Data

We do not store your conversations or queries. All inputs are processed in real time solely to deliver your results, then immediately discarded. We do not build user profiles or track individual activity. Any personal information entered inadvertently is not retained in our systems. We adhere to the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality in all data processing activities.

When using Ask AI, your input is anonymized before being transmitted to our AI provider, ensuring they cannot link your queries to your identity. As an additional precaution, please avoid submitting personal or sensitive information.

When using Search, your queries are anonymized before being sent to our search provider, ensuring they cannot link your searches to your identity.

Payment Processing

When you make a payment, your transaction is processed by third-party e-wallet providers (such as GCash or Maya). We do not store your payment credentials. We receive only the minimum information necessary to confirm your payment, such as a transaction reference number. Please see the Third-Party Services section below for our payment provider details.

Data Protection

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits.

Data Retention

We do not store your conversations, search queries, or browsing history on our servers. We retain only your email address and User ID to link your account via Sign In with Google. We do not store your password; Google handles that. Technical data (IP addresses, browser user agents) may be retained for a limited period for platform security and to enforce our Account Usage and Sharing Policy.

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Since we do not store your activity, deletion removes only your email, user ID, and subscription status.
