Upgrading Healthcare Services and Facilities

  • The Secretary of the DOH, in consultation with the Chief of VSMMC and coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management and Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission, will determine and create additional positions.

Funding and Implementation

  • The DOH Secretary is required to include the implementation of this Act in the Department's programs.
  • Funding for the increased capacity and related improvements shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Separability Clause

  • If any provision of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected shall remain valid and enforceable.

Repealing Clause

  • All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

  • The Act will take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
