Development and Submission of Hospital Development Plan
- Chief of the medical center is responsible for developing a hospital development plan.
- The plan must reflect hospital development goals aligned with increased bed capacity and service capabilities.
- Staffing requirements, capital investments, and operational budget requests are based on this development plan.
- The plan is to be submitted to the Department of Health for approval and implementation.
Funding and Implementation
- The Secretary of Health is tasked to include this Act’s implementation within the Department of Health's programs.
- Funding for the medical center upgrades will be allocated through the General Appropriations Act.
Partial Invalidity Clause
- If any part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Amendments to Previous Law and Repeal
- Republic Act No. 7799 establishing the original Talisay District Hospital is amended accordingly.
- Any laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified to conform with its provisions.
Rulemaking
- Within ninety (90) days from approval, the Secretary of Health, in consultation with the Secretary of Budget and Management, shall promulgate necessary rules and regulations to enforce the Act effectively.
Effectivity
- This law takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
