Supervision of the Presidential Commission on the Urban Poor (PCUP)

  • The PCUP is placed under the direct supervision and control of the Department of Land Reform.
  • The Chairman of PCUP automatically assumes the position of Undersecretary for Urban Land Reform within the Department.

Supervision of the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP)

  • The NCIP is also placed under the supervision and control of the Department of Land Reform.
  • The Chairman of NCIP automatically becomes the Undersecretary for Ancestral Domain Reform within the Department.

Access to Departmental Services for PCUP and NCIP

  • Both PCUP and NCIP shall have full access to the Department of Land Reform's support services.
  • These services include Finance, Management and Administrative Office; Policy, Planning and Legal Affairs Office; Field Operations and Support Services Office; and other departmental offices.

Repeal and Modification of Conflicting Issuances

  • All previous laws, orders, or issuances conflicting with this order are repealed or modified accordingly to align with the new structure.

Immediate Effectivity

  • The Order takes effect immediately upon issuance, ensuring prompt implementation of the transformed department and its expanded mandates.
