Requirements for Transfer of Business Address

  • Formal letter application specifying the actual date of occupancy
  • Accomplished and notarized LRO Form No. 2 for transfer of business address
  • Copy of formal notice to either the Bureau of Domestic Trade or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
  • For corporations, a Board Resolution or Secretary's Certificate registered with the SEC authorizing the address transfer
  • Contract of lease or proof of building ownership specifying office floor area, with a minimum requirement of 60 square meters
  • List of new officers/employees, including appointments, biodata, and passport size pictures
  • List of terminated/resigned employees with reasons, if not previously submitted
  • Original proof of publication of new address in a newspaper of general circulation, to be submitted after inspection

Inspection Procedure

  • Inspection of the new business address conducted after receipt of application and all required documents
  • Agency expected to have effected transfer immediately upon submission
  • Final acknowledgment of transfer issued only if minimum operational standards, as per inspection, are met

Conditional Approval and Compliance Deadline

  • Agencies submitting incomplete requirements receive a no objection letter allowing transfer and immediate business operation
  • Submission of required documents must be completed within 30 days from application filing
  • Ocular inspection outcome still governs final approval
  • Failure to comply within 30 days may lead to administrative sanctions
