Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records

  • All personnel employed by the high school department are transferred to Sta. Rosa National High School.
  • Assets belonging to the high school department are absorbed by the newly created Sta. Rosa National High School.
  • Liabilities incurred by the high school department are likewise assumed by the new national high school.
  • Institutional records previously held by the high school department are transferred to Sta. Rosa National High School.

Funding and Operationalization

  • The Secretary of Education must incorporate the operationalization of Sta. Rosa National High School into the Department of Education’s program without delay.
  • Initial funding for the national high school shall be drawn from the current year’s allocation previously assigned to the high school department of Sta. Rosa Integrated School.
  • Subsequent annual funding shall be included in the General Appropriations Act to ensure continued operation.

Rulemaking Authority

  • The Secretary of Education is empowered and mandated to formulate the necessary rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this Act.
  • Such rules and regulations must be completed and formalized within one hundred twenty (120) days from the date the Act takes effect.

Effectivity Clause

  • The Act shall become effective fifteen (15) days following its publication either in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

  • The Act underwent legislative processes including passage by the House of Representatives and Senate, amendments, and concurrence, culminating in approval by the President of the Philippines.
