The main purpose of Republic Act No. 11424 is to separate the high school department of Sta. Rosa Integrated School in Barangay Sta. Rosa, Municipality of Concepcion, Province of Tarlac, converting it into an independent national high school known as Sta. Rosa National High School, and renaming the surviving school as Sta. Rosa Elementary School.
The surviving school, formerly known as Sta. Rosa Integrated School after the separation of its high school department, was renamed as Sta. Rosa Elementary School.
All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the high school department of Sta. Rosa Integrated School are transferred to and absorbed by Sta. Rosa National High School.
The Secretary of Education is responsible for immediately including in the Department's program the operationalization of Sta. Rosa National High School.
The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the high school department of Sta. Rosa Integrated School.
The continued operation of Sta. Rosa National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Secretary of Education shall formulate the rules and regulations within one hundred twenty (120) days after the effectivity of the Act.
The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
The Act was enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled.
The newly created independent high school is officially named Sta. Rosa National High School.
