- Teachers majoring in Biology and Environmental Science shall take Biological Sciences.
- Two distinct subjects, Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences, were created for the examination.
- Questions in these subjects are to be based on the syllabi outlined for the LET 2001.
Effects and Scope of the Resolution
- The resolution requires the inclusion of two separate fields of specialization within the Science discipline starting from the LET of August 2001.
- The syllabus for each specialization is attached as Annex A to the Resolution and forms an integral part thereof.
Implementation Procedure and Notification
- This Resolution takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation, whichever is earlier.
- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) directed dissemination of copies to all teacher training institutions, CHED, and DECS to ensure awareness and compliance.
Legal Authority and Approval
- The Resolution was adopted by the Board for Professional Teachers on February 6, 2001.
- It was signed by the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, members of the Board, and attested by the Secretary of Professional Regulatory Boards.
- It received approval from the Commission Chairman and Associate Commissioners of the PRC.
