Processing Time for New Licenses Requiring Examination

New driver’s licenses, conductor’s licenses, and similar license transactions that require examination must be processed within four (4) hours or 240 minutes.

Processing Time for Plain Renewals

Plain renewals performed at Driver's License Renewal Centers (DLRCs) or License Sections should be completed within 30 minutes.

Processing Time for Student Permits

The processing of student permits must be completed within 30 minutes.

Processing Time for Renewals Not Requiring Examination

Renewals of driver’s licenses, conductor’s licenses, and other similar transactions that do not require an examination must be completed within two (2) hours or 120 minutes.

Certification Processing Time
