Transfer of Resources and Personnel
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and school records of the Bacoor National High School - Tabing Dagat Annex are transferred to and absorbed by Mariano Gomes National High School.
Funding and Operationalization
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to immediately incorporate the operationalization of Mariano Gomes National High School in the Department of Education's program.
- Initial funding shall be charged against the current budget allocation of Bacoor National High School - Tabing Dagat Annex.
- Future funding required for continuous operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Formulation of Implementing Rules and Regulations
- Within ninety (90) days from the enactment of the law, the Secretary of Education must formulate implementing rules and regulations.
- These rules shall cover organization, administration, operations, and management of the school.
- Implementation must be aligned with Republic Act No. 9155 (Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001) and Republic Act No. 10533 (Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013), among other related education laws.
Effectivity and Publication of the Law
- The law takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication either in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
- The law was approved on June 15, 2023, after congressional passage and presidential approval.
