Transfer of Personnel, Assets, and Records
- All personnel currently employed by San Rafael National High School are transferred to the newly established technical-vocational high school.
- All assets, liabilities, and official records of the original school are likewise transferred and absorbed by the new institution.
Operationalization and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is tasked with immediately incorporating the operationalization of the San Rafael Technological and Vocational High School into the Department of Education's program.
- Initial funding for the school will be sourced from the current year's appropriation originally allocated to San Rafael National High School.
- Subsequent funding needs shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act to ensure continuous operation.
Rule-Making Authority
- The Secretary of Education is empowered to formulate rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this Act effectively.
Effectivity of the Act
- The law shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication either in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation, ensuring public awareness and compliance.
Legislative and Executive Approvals
- The law was passed by the House of Representatives on December 13, 2016, and by the Senate on December 11, 2017.
- It was approved by the President of the Philippines on March 6, 2018, formalizing the conversion and institutional changes.
