Conditions and Requirements for Visa Issuance

  • Temporary visitor visas issued under Section 9(a) of the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940, as amended.
  • Issued by Philippine Foreign Service establishments without prior authorization from the Department of Foreign Affairs.
  • Required documents and conditions include:
    • Duly accomplished visa application form (FA form No. 2).
    • Passport valid for at least six months beyond the period of authorized stay.
    • Valid entry visa for the next destination or re-entry to country of origin or residence.
    • Confirmed return or onward passage ticket.
    • Proof of bona fide status as a tourist or businessman.
    • Additional requirements as may be required by the consular officer.

Visa Fees

  • Prescribed fees for visa application services:
    • Single entry visa valid for three (3) months – US$ 25.00.
    • Multiple entry visa valid for three (3) months – US$ 50.00.
    • Multiple entry visa valid for six (6) months – US$ 100.00.

Repealing Clause

  • Any inconsistent executive orders, presidential issuances, administrative rules, regulations, or parts thereof are repealed or amended to conform with this order.

Implementation and Effectivity

  • This Executive Order takes effect immediately upon signing.
  • The Department of Foreign Affairs and the Bureau of Immigration are tasked to issue the necessary implementing circulars.
  • Formalized by the President and Executive Secretary on April 11, 1994, in Manila.
