Q&A (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 168)

The declared policy is to attract and promote trade, investment, and tourism as instruments of economic growth and national development.

It applies to Chinese nationals who are holders of People’s Republic of China (PROC), Taipei, Hongkong-British, and Macao-Portuguese passports.

The requirements include: a duly accomplished visa application form (FA form No. 2); a passport valid for six months beyond the period of authorized stay; a valid entry visa to the next port of destination or re-entry; a confirmed return or onward passage ticket; proof of bona fide status as a tourist or businessman; and other requirements deemed necessary by the consular officer.

The visa fee is US$ 25.00.

The visa fee is US$ 50.00.

The visa fee is US$ 100.00.

Any inconsistent executive orders, presidential issuances, administrative or regulatory rules, or parts thereof are repealed or amended accordingly.

It took effect immediately upon issuance.
