- OUT Time: Time when application finishes a workstep and is passed onwards.

- Remarks: Reasons for exceeding processing time or rejecting transactions.
Procedure for Filling Up the Routing Slip
- A routing slip is attached to every application; transaction type box must be checked.
- Required fields such as date and unique transaction ID must be completed; IDs assigned sequentially without duplication.
- Each personnel handling the transaction must record time IN upon receipt and time OUT upon completion of their workstep.
- Waiting times and reasons affecting processing times must be noted in remarks.
- Processors must sign after completing their part and promptly pass the application along.
- Computer time should be used for accuracy, with uniform time format of hr:min:sec.
- Reasons for rejection must be documented in remarks.
- Routing slips should be filed by date and type of transaction.
- Transactions exceeding standard times should be evaluated and reasons addressed.
