Scope of Application

Applies to all individuals, partnerships, or corporations engaged in:

- Similar or related operations affecting natural resources.

Obligation to Restore, Rehabilitate, and Return Environment

Entities covered must restore, rehabilitate, and return affected lands, rivers, and natural environments to their original pre-operation conditions.
Restoration efforts must be to the fullest extent possible.

Rule-Making Authority

The Secretary of Natural Resources is empowered to promulgate rules and regulations necessary to enforce the restoration and rehabilitation requirements.

Repeal and Modification of Conflicting Laws

Any existing laws, decrees, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Decree are repealed or modified to conform with its provisions.

Effectivity

The Decree takes effect immediately upon its promulgation on September 19, 1977.
