Legal basis and controlling authority
- Section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended authorizes the withdrawal and reservation of public land for railroad right-of-way purposes.
- The reservation is expressly placed under the administration of the Manila Railroad Company.
- The reservation is made subject to private rights, if any there be.

Reserved property: location and description
- The reserved parcel is situated in the barrio of Sumulong, Municipality of Calauag, Province of Quezon, Island of Luzon.
- The parcel is identified as “a parcel of land (Psu-120020)”.
- The parcel is bounded as follows:
- NE. and NW. by public land;
- SE. by property of the Manila Railroad Company, lot No. 1428 of the cadastral survey of Calauag; and
- SW. by property of the Manila Railroad Company, lot No. 4 New-B of plan Psd-24298.
- The parcel contains an area of 1,821 square meters more or less.
- The boundaries are described by referenced survey bearings and points:
- The description begins at a point marked “a1a”, being N. 47A 56a2 E., 124.84 meters more or less from B.L.L.M. No. 3, Calauag cadastre.
- The boundary lines proceed through points a2a, a3a, a4a, a5a, a6a, a7a, a8a, and return to the point of beginning, using the bearings and distances stated in the proclamation.
- The proclamation identifies reference and on-ground markings:
- Point a1a is marked by old corner.
- Point a2a is marked by P.L.S. M. R. concrete monument 15 cm. diameter by 60 cm.
- Points a3a to a8a (inclusive) are marked by rails 45 by 80 cm. long, 20 cm. above ground.
- Bearings are true and the declination is 0A 38a2 E.
- The survey dates are May 17 and June 16-18, 1948.
Withdrawn status and reserved use
- The proclamation withdraws the parcel from sale or settlement.
- The proclamation reserves the parcel for railroad right-of-way purposes.
- The reservation is for railroad right-of-way purposes under the administration of the Manila Railroad Company.
