Reminders on plate replacement and renewal disallowance

  • Any vehicle whose initial transaction for a period prior to 7 December 2009 is a record of a Miscellaneous Transaction (e.g., Motor Vehicle Permits or Verification Report Request) is not considered for Renewal Registration for the current year.
  • Such vehicles are likewise not considered for Replacement of Plate transactions when the initial record falls under Miscellaneous Transaction for the period prior to 7 December 2009.
  • The vehicle details must be prepared for centralized endorsement, including certified photocopy of documents.

Endorsement and audit trail generation process

  • The memorandum requires that the vehicle details and certified photocopy of documents be endorsed to the Central Office, Management Information Division.
  • The purpose of the endorsement is the generation of an Audit Trail Report.

Change classification plate surrender requirements
