Required Documents for Registration
- Submission by Philippine licensed agencies acting on behalf of foreign principals/projects.
- Documents include:
- Special power of attorney or recruitment/service agreement.
- Master employment contract of the foreign principal.
- Manpower request or job order indicating position and salary.
- Valid business license or registration of the foreign principal.
Procedural and Documentary Guidelines
- Specific documentary and procedural guidelines will be developed by the Landbased Center and Household Workers Center.
- These guidelines will include process flows and must be posted visibly in the respective work areas.
Data Management and Accessibility
- POEA to maintain an Internet/web-based data system of all registered employers and principals.
- POLOs may access this system during document verification processes.
- POLOs required to send daily reports via e-mail to the concerned POEA units on documents they have verified.
- POLOs expected to maintain databases of verified documents independently.
Coordination and Information Sharing
- POEA to regularly provide POLOs with updated lists of all accredited foreign employers and principals in their jurisdictions.
- Distribution of these lists will be via e-mail, fax, or regular courier (pouch).
- All registration transactions by POEA will be closely coordinated with POLOs to ensure accuracy and currency of data.
Legal and Administrative Framework
- The system aims to streamline operations, reduce duplication of work between POEA and POLO.
- Enhances transparency and systematic data handling in the registration of foreign employers/principals.
- Provides clear roles for POEA and POLO in the verification, registration, and monitoring processes.
