Registration Requirements for Applicants
- Applicants must present the following documents:
- Valid NBI clearance (photocopy).
- Valid passport and/or NSO authenticated birth certificate. (Applicants must not be over 40 years old as of August 2004.)
- High school and/or college diploma (photocopy).
- One colored 2x2 picture.
Registration Procedures and Fees
- The registration is conducted free of charge by the POEA.
- Only POEA-issued application forms are accepted; the public is cautioned against unauthorized forms.
- Registration can be done at POEA main office and authorized regional centers and extension units across the Philippines.
- Designated drop boxes in the POEA lobby are used for filing applications.
- The deadline for filing applications is May 14, 2004.
Eligible Positions for Registration
- Only the following positions are considered for registration:
- Machine operators in electronics and garments factories.
- Experienced workers in four or five-star hotels or luxury vessels.
Notification and Follow-up
- Registered applicants will be notified of examination schedules, interviews, and other documentary requirements through tri-media channels and the POEA website.
- Applicants are advised to regularly check the POEA website (poea.gov.ph) for updates.
- Details on interviews, selection, and terms and conditions of employment will be publicly announced through similar communication channels.
Warning Against Unauthorized Practices
- Public warning against the use of unauthorized application forms.
- Only POEA-approved and marked forms shall be accepted to safeguard applicants.

- The Advisory is issued and signed by Rosalida Dimapilis-Baldoz, Administrator of POEA, emphasizing official and authorized procedures for participation in the SHPK.
