Role of the Office of the President - Gender and Development Focal Point System (OP-GFPS)

  • OP-GFPS is responsible for determining the appropriate venue and organizing the Gender Sensitivity Training Program.
  • The OP-GFPS will coordinate the implementation of all GAD-related activities for OP Proper human resources.

Coordination and Scheduling

  • The OP-GFPS must work closely with the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration (ODESFA) to strategically schedule participant involvement.
  • Scheduling aims to ensure that participation in training programs and related activities does not disrupt service delivery or routine operations of the OP Proper.

Implementation Procedures and Financial Responsibility

  • Specific implementation procedures and the costs for each program or activity will be prepared and approved separately.
  • Approval authority is vested in the Executive Secretary or the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration (DESFA), as formalized through Project/Activity Designs or Special Orders.

Effectivity

  • The Memorandum Order takes effect immediately upon issuance on September 7, 2022.
