Reapportionment of Camarines Sur legislative districts

Section 1 reappoints the composition of the First (1st) and Second (2nd) Legislative Districts in the Province of Camarines Sur.
Section 1 creates an additional legislative district that will begin in the next national elections after the effectivity of this Act.
Section 2 consolidates municipalities from the existing districts to form the new legislative district authorized under the Act.

Section 2 consolidates the municipalities of Libmanan, Minalabac, Pamplona, Pasacao and San Fernando (from the current First (1st) Legislative District) with the municipalities of Gainza and Milaor (from the current Second (2nd) Legislative District).
The consolidated municipalities under Section 2 comprise the new legislative district authorized under the Act.

First District: Section 3 provides that the remaining municipalities in the current First (1st) Legislative District continue to be designated as the First (1st) Legislative District, composed of Del Gallego, Ragay, Lupi, Sipicot and Cabusao.
Second District: Section 3 provides that the new legislative district is composed of the municipalities enumerated in Section 2.
Third District (renaming): Section 3 renames the current Second (2nd) Legislative District as the Third (3rd) Legislative District, composed of Naga City and the municipalities of Pili, Ocampo, Camaligan, Canaman, Magarao, Bombon and Calabanga.
Fourth District (renaming): Section 3 renames the current Third (3rd) Legislative District as the Fourth (4th) Legislative District with no change in composition, composed of Caramoan, Garchitorena, Goa, Lagonoy, Presentacion, Sangay, San Jose, Tigaon, Tinambac and Siruma.
Fifth District (renaming): Section 3 renames the current Fourth (4th) Legislative District as the Fifth (5th) Legislative District with no change in composition, composed of Iriga City and the municipalities of Baao, Balatan, Bato, Buhi, Bula and Nabua.

Section 4 directs that the Commission on Elections shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement Republic Act No. 9716.

Section 5 provides that all laws, rules and regulations inconsistent with Republic Act No. 9716 are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
