Election of Sangguniang Panlungsod Members for New Districts
- Each of the newly created Fifth and Sixth Districts will elect six regular Sangguniang Panlungsod members.
- These elections coincide with the next national and local elections following the law's effectivity.
Continuity of Incumbent Officials
- Current Representative and Sangguniang Panlungsod members from the Second District retain office until newly elected officials assume their roles.
Implementation by the Commission on Elections
- The Commission on Elections is tasked with issuing the necessary rules and regulations to enforce the law.
Repealing Clause
- Existing laws, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The law takes effect fifteen days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
