Department of Education inclusion in program
- Section 2 directs the Secretary of Education to immediately include the operationalization of the Progressive Senior High School in the Department’s program.

Implementing rules and timelines
- Section 3 requires the Secretary of Education to formulate the rules and regulations implementing the Act within ninety (90) days from the approval of this Act.
- Section 3 requires the implementing rules and regulations to provide for the school’s organization, administration, operations, and management.
- Section 3 mandates that the implementing rules and regulations govern in accordance with Republic Act No. 9155 (the “Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001”), Republic Act No. 10533 (the “Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013”), and other basic education-related laws.
Effectivity and publication requirement
- Section 4 provides that the Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
- Section 4 allows publication in either the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
