Composition of the Presidential Task Force
- Chaired by the Executive Secretary.
- Members include Secretaries of Public Works, Finance, National Defense, Social Welfare, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Health, and the Director-General of NEDA.
Implementing Staff and Regional Coordination
- Located and operating in Mindanao with:
- Commanding Officer, Fourth Military Area (Coordinator)
- Chairman, Mindanao Development Authority
- Governors of all Mindanao provinces
- Presidential Regional Officers for Development (Mindanao)
Core Tasks of the Task Force
- Immediate assessment of damages to private property and government facilities.
- Identification and mobilization of funds for integrated reconstruction and rehabilitation planning aligned with the national development program.
- Restoration of peace and order by military operations, capturing rebellious leaders, and executing selective amnesty and rehabilitation programs.
- Implementation of any other necessary actions to fulfill these objectives.
Support Structure and Authority
- Secretariat functions assigned to the Development Management Staff, National Computer Center, and Infrastructure Operations Center.
- Development Management Staff acts as overall coordinator.
- Empowered to call upon all government departments, bureaus, agencies, government-owned/controlled corporations, and private sectors for cooperation and assistance.
Operational Period and Reporting
- Task Force to operate until completion of assigned tasks.
- Required to submit a report of accomplishments to the President within three months from creation date.
