- Eligible under certain recognized examinations or eligibilities (PNP Entrance Exam, CSC Police Officer Eligibility, Bar, etc.).
Procedural Guidelines for Recruitment and Selection
- Notices posted publicly; media advertisements may be used.
- Screening Committees formed per region, composed of designated PNP and local officials.
- Applicants must submit necessary documents including authenticated birth certificates, eligibility ratings, clearances, educational credentials, and medical certificates.
- A multi-stage sequential evaluation includes ranking by exam or eligibility, physical agility test (PAT), neuro-psychiatric exam, medical and dental exams, character/background investigation, and final interview.
- Drug tests are conducted independently.
- The top 150% of quota applicants from ranking take PAT, with clearly defined event standards and passing scores.

Appointing Authority

Effectivity
- The Circular takes effect 15 days after filing at the University of the Philippines Law Center in accordance with Executive Order No. 292.
