Approval Procedure for Deputations
- Deputations are approved through the issuance of an official Memorandum.
- The Memorandum lists the names of the deputized Law Enforcers.
Transmission and Distribution of Approved Memorandum
- Upon approval, the Memorandum is immediately transmitted by facsimile to the concerned Regional Office.
- The original or a certified true copy of the Memorandum is then mailed to the Regional Office.
Effectivity of Deputation Without Physical Tags
- The approved Memorandum serves as official authorization for deputized Law Enforcers to perform their duties even before receiving deputation tags.
Issuance of Deputation Tags
- Deputation tags are issued to Law Enforcers following the approval.
- Until tags are received, Regional Directors must provide photocopies of the approved Memorandum to each deputized Law Enforcer.
- Photocopies are required to be surrendered once official deputation tags are issued.
Timeliness and Responsibilities of the Deputation Committee
- The Deputation Committee must promptly process all deputation applications.
- A final draft of the Memorandum approving deputations must be submitted within five (5) days of receipt.
Enforcement and Compliance
- All involved parties are ordered to strictly comply with the procedures to avoid enforcement lapses.
