Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Pasonanca Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the newly created Pasonanca National High School.
Funding and Operationalization
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to immediately include the operationalization of Pasonanca National High School in the Department of Education’s program.
- Initial funding is charged against the current year’s appropriation originally allotted to the Pasonanca Annex of Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School.
- Subsequent funding for the school’s continued operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Rule-making Authority
- The Secretary of Education is authorized to issue rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions and objectives of the Act.
Effectivity
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
This law formalizes the administrative independence of the Pasonanca Annex as a separate national high school, ensures the seamless transfer of resources and personnel, provides for funding mechanisms, and empowers the Secretary of Education with regulatory authority to facilitate its implementation.
