Territorial Boundaries of Manticao
- The boundaries begin at the mouth of Linangkayan Creek, located southwest of the sitio named Linangkayan.
- From this point, an imaginary west to east straight line runs approximately 7.1 kilometers.
- The boundary then runs due south along the west boundary of the municipal district of Lourdes until it meets the Misamis Oriental-Lanao provincial boundary.
- From there, it proceeds northwestward along the Misamis Oriental-Lanao provincial boundary, passing the Bureau of Lands monument at Km. 76.437 near Zalimbal Point.
- The boundary reaches the waters of Iligan Bay at high tide.
- It follows the municipal waters boundary in accordance with Section 2331 of the Revised Administrative Code back to the point of beginning.
Legal Commencement of the Municipality
- The municipality of Manticao will formally exist upon the appointment and qualification of its local officials: mayor, vice-mayor, and majority of municipal councilors.
Formal Execution
- The Executive Order was signed in Manila on February 7, 1949, by President Elpidio Quirino and Executive Secretary Teodoro Evangelista.
- This act marks the third year of Philippine independence timing.
