Territorial Composition
- Barrios included: San Miguel, Harrison, Toytoy, Sumaoy, Binagasbasan, and Denrica.
- Sitios included: San Vicente, Cagamotan, Tamiawon, Lamit, and Pulon Daga.
- Islands included: Malabungot Islands, Lamit Islands, Quinalanag Island, and several smaller nearby islands.
Legal Authority and Basis
- The organization is pursuant to section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.
- It is made upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior.
Boundary Description
- Northern point: Imad, approximately 24 kilometers northwest of barrio Hibgos.
- Boundary lines move southwest to Lidong, then to the Cabinitan River.
- Boundary follows upstream of Cabinitan River, then straight line to Saddle Peak.
- Then extends northwest to Mount Tiis.
- Further northwest until Sipaco River near Agricultural Colony boundary.
- Follows Sipaco River downstream to its mouth.
- From the mouth, follows beach line to the depression near Denrica.
- Then a straight line to a point near Mapid.
Effectivity of the Organization
- The establishment of the municipality takes effect upon:
- Appointment and qualification of the mayor.
- Appointment and qualification of the vice-mayor.
- Appointment and qualification of a majority of the municipal councilors.
