The purpose of Executive Order No. 205 is to organize certain barrios and sitios in the Municipality of Caramoan, Camarines Sur, into an independent municipality under the name of Anderson, with its seat of government at the barrio of San Miguel.
The barrios of San Miguel, Harrison, Toytoy, Sumaoy, Binagasbasan, and Denrica, and the sitios of San Vicente, Cagamotan, Tamiawon, Lamit, and Pulon Daga, as well as several islands including Malabungot, Lamit, Quinalanag, and nearby smaller islands were organized into the municipality of Anderson.
The municipality of Anderson was created pursuant to the provisions of section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior.
The seat of government of the municipality of Anderson is at the barrio of San Miguel.
The organization takes effect upon the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of the municipal councilors.
Elpidio Quirino was the President of the Philippines when Executive Order No. 205 was signed.
Teodoro Evangelista signed the Executive Order No. 205 as Executive Secretary.
The boundaries include a line from point Imad approximately 24 kilometers NW of barrio Hibgos, to Lidong, following the course of the Cabinitan River, passing Saddle Peak, Mount Tiis, following the Sipaco River to its mouth, along the beach line near Denrica, to a point near Mapid.
The recommendation came from the Secretary of the Interior.
It is considered the organization of a new independent municipality, which is a new local government unit.
