Legal basis for municipal organization

- The authorization in Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code is implemented by converting the existing municipal district of Aurora into a regular municipality.
Purpose and municipal conversion
- Executive Order No. 139 converts the municipal district of Aurora in Isabela into a regular municipality.
- The new municipality retains the same name: Aurora.
- The conversion is implemented through the organizing authority exercised under Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.
Municipality location and seat of government
- The seat of government of the organized municipality is located at the present poblacion of Aurora.
- The municipal government thus operates from the existing poblacion area used by the municipal district before organization.
Effective date implementation
- The organization created by Executive Order No. 139 becomes legally effective on July 3, 1948.
- The effectivity date applies to the municipality’s status as a regular municipality under the name Aurora.
