Composition and Seat of the Municipality of Dinas
- The municipality of Dinas consists of several barrios, each made up of various sitios (smaller communities):
- Dinas barrio (the municipal seat): comprised of Nangka (lower), Toludan, Binuatan, DapuAgan, Tinicul, and Pulatos sitios.
- Migpulao barrio: includes Tagaluboc and other continuous places.
- Mirapao barrio: includes Dongos, Pantad, Sumuyak, Lubalan, Limunan, and Mati.
- Legarda barrio: includes Legarda 1 and 2, Biray, Guinacap, Betinan, and Duminsalao.
- Libuganan barrio: includes Maclob, Laperian, Dao-an, and Bulawan.
- Kapamanoc barrio: includes CalilaAgan, CamaAga, Guiniculalay, Cundum, PaAgapong, and Pao.
- San Pablo barrio: includes Culasian, Tandubuay, Tiniapan, Pantad, and Malubog.
- Calipapa barrio: includes Tamburo, Ticala Islands, Tarakan, Dansalan, Buton, and Bubual.
- Pisaan barrio: comprises Pisaan Island.
- Sibul barrio: includes Mandag, Igaboy, Linisuan, and Calcalan.
- Bacawan barrio: includes Sumputan, Upper Dimaya, and other contiguous places.
- Ludiong barrio: includes Locuban sitio.
Annexation of Sitios to the Municipality of Dimataling
- The sitios of Guilisan, Saloagan, and Magahis are separated from Margosatubig municipality.
- These sitios are annexed to the municipality of Dimataling.
- The annexed sitios are organized as barrios under the same names within Dimataling.
Territorial Adjustments of Affected Municipalities
- Dimataling’s territory is adjusted to:
- Exclude the portion now forming Dinas,
- Include the sitios of Guilisan, Saloagan, and Magahis.
- Margosatubig loses the sitios of Guilisan, Saloagan, and Magahis from its territory.
Effective Date and Legal Authority
- The new organization and annexation take effect on November 10, 1950.
- The law is enacted under the authority of Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.
- Signed by the President of the Philippines and the Executive Secretary in Manila on November 9, 1950.
