In response to the total deployment ban on Overseas Filipino Workers in Kuwait, agencies are mandated to monitor and report the status of deployed workers, including their locations and conditions, to ensure their safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Monitoring and Reporting Requirements

  • Agencies must accomplish a Monitoring Form detailing:
    • Inventory/list of all recruited workers deployed to Kuwait.
    • Exact location and contact numbers of the deployed workers.
    • Details of their respective employers including contact information and addresses.
    • Status report on the conditions and situations of the deployed workers onsite.

Coordination and Continuous Monitoring

  • Agencies are required to maintain regular communication with the employers of the deployed workers.
  • Continuous monitoring of the workers' condition onsite is mandatory to ensure their welfare.

Submission of Monitoring Reports

  • Monitoring reports must be submitted to the POEA Welfare and Employment Office (WEO).
  • Reports should be sent via email to poea.kuwaitmonitoring@gmail.com.
  • Submission is required every Thursday or immediately if circumstances necessitate.

Enforcement and Penalties

  • Non-compliance with the reporting requirements will be subject to sanctions under the 2016 Revised POEA Rules and Regulations.
  • These regulations govern the deployment of landbased Overseas Filipino Workers and seafarers.

Implementation

  • The advisory is for immediate compliance following its filing and promulgation by the POEA Administrator, Bernard P. Olalia.
