Color Scheme Requirement

Inspection Schedule

  • Vehicles will undergo inspection by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) according to a prescribed timetable based on the last digit of the vehicle's plate number:
    • Plate numbers ending with 1 and 7: Inspection in July
    • Ending 2 and 8: August
    • Ending 3 and 9: September
    • Ending 4 and 0: October
    • Ending 5 and 6: November

Penalties for Non-Compliance

  • Failure to comply with the yellow color scheme and inspection requirements within the specified period will incur a penalty.
  • The penalty is a fine of Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00) for each month of delay beyond the deadline.

Supersession and Effectivity

  • This Memorandum Circular supersedes any previous issuances or regulations that conflict with its provisions.
  • The directive takes effect immediately from February 1, 2006.

  • Issued and signed by the Chairperson and Board Members of the LTFRB.
