Appropriation and Funding for Construction and Operation
- Initial funding for the hospital's construction shall come from the appropriations authorized under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent funding for the hospital’s operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Preconditions for Construction
- Prior to construction, the Secretary of Health must issue a written assurance confirming:
- That the hospital’s personnel will be appointed.
- That funds for the hospital's maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
Effectivity of the Act
- This law takes effect immediately upon its approval by the President of the Philippines.
