Specifications for Billboards
- A standard billboard size of 4 feet by 8 feet (1200 mm x 2400 mm) must be used.
- The billboard material must be A12 inch (12 mm) marine plywood or tarpaulin posted on 3/16 inch (5 mm) marine plywood.
- Attached drawings provide the precise format and specifications for the billboards.
Placement of Billboards for Different Project Types
- For building projects, the billboard must be installed at the front of the project site.
- For road, bridge, or flood control projects, two billboards are required: one at the beginning and one at the end of the project.
- For road projects extending 10 kilometers or more, additional billboards must be installed at every 5-kilometer interval.
Prohibition of Personal Names and Pictures
- The billboard must not contain the names or pictures of any individual personages.
Supersession and Effectivity
- This Department Order supersedes Department Order No. 5 dated January 20, 2009, and any other inconsistent previous issuances.
- The Order took effect immediately upon adoption on August 6, 2010.
