Increase Bed Capacity of Balindong Hospital

Section 1 increases the authorized bed capacity of the Balindong District Hospital in Wato-Balindong, Lanao del Sur from ten (10) to fifty (50) beds.
Section 1 requires any future increase in bed capacity to be consistent with the hospital development plan prepared by the Chief of Hospital of the Balindong District Hospital.
Section 1 requires the hospital development plan to be submitted by the Chief of Hospital to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and the Ministry of Health.

Section 2 requires the existing professional health care services and facilities of the Balindong District Hospital to be upgraded.
Section 2 mandates that the upgrades must conform to and be commensurate to the bed capacity increase under Section 1.

Section 3 requires the existing workforce of the Balindong District Hospital, including doctors, nurses, and support personnel, to be increased correspondingly.
Section 3 ties the increase in workforce to the increase in bed capacity and related capacity expansion.

Section 4 directs the Bangsamoro Autonomous Government to provide necessary funds for the maintenance and other operating expenses of the Balindong District Hospital.
Section 4 requires the Bangsamoro Autonomous Government to appropriate funds for the additional human resource complement to support:
- the increase in bed capacity, and
- the corresponding upgrading of service facilities and professional health care services.
Section 5 requires the Secretary of the DOH to include in the Department’s subsidy program support for the capital outlay requirements of the Balindong District Hospital.

Section 6 provides that all laws, executive orders, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with Republic Act No. 11884 are modified accordingly.
