- Responsible for maintaining and expanding reliable and efficient transportation systems
- Key in rescue and relief operations during disasters

- Handles planning, development, promotion of the country's ICT agenda
- Critical in disseminating timely, accurate, and reliable information in emergencies and disasters
Justification for Inclusion as NDRRMC Members
- Both DOTr and DICT provide essential life preservation systems based on acceptable standards immediately before, during, or after disasters
Executive Order Directives
- Section 1: DICT and DOTr are officially included as members of the NDRRMC
- Section 2: Funding for implementation shall be allocated within the respective budgets of DICT and DOTr
- Section 3: Any conflicting orders, rules, or regulations are repealed or amended to accord with this Order
- Section 4: If any provision is declared invalid, remaining provisions remain effective
- Section 5: The Executive Order takes immediate effect
