Inter-agency implementation of component programs

  • Department of Public Works, Transportation and Communications (DPWTC) through its Bureau of Public Works must, when requested by the NHA, undertake construction of all buildings such as schools, health centers, playgrounds, etc. on land provided for but not otherwise funded under the NHA program.

  • Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) must construct the project’s required sewerage outfalls and must operate and maintain the sewerage and water system, including the stabilization pond, with adequate funds programmed from its budget.

  • The Philippine National Volunteers Service Coordination Office must, together with DOH and the Department of Education, implement the volunteer service training program, particularly Barangay Volunteer Medics, Volunteer Nurses, Teachers, and other related training programs, with adequate budgeted funds.
  • The Philippine Port Authority must assist in implementing the relocation program for International Port residents, with adequate budgeted funds.

Major roads and traffic systems
