Transfer of Personnel, Records, Assets, and Liabilities

  • All personnel from Lopez Comprehensive National High School-Matinik Annex shall be transferred to Hondagua National High School.
  • School records and administrative documents will also be transferred.
  • All assets and liabilities of the Matinik Annex will be absorbed by Hondagua National High School.

Scope of Educational Services and Admission Policy

  • The school shall primarily provide secondary education, training, and instruction to students residing in Barangay Hondagua and surrounding barangays in Lopez.
  • Admission shall not be denied to students living elsewhere in Lopez or nearby municipalities of Quezon Province.

Rule-making Authority

  • The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports is empowered to promulgate rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions of the Act.

Appropriations and Funding

  • The funds necessary for the establishment and operation of Hondagua National High School shall be included in the General Appropriations Act for the fiscal year following the enactment of the law and subsequent years.

Effectivity

  • The Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
  • The law took effect by lapse of time without the President's signature, in accordance with the Philippine Constitution Article VI, Section 27 (1).
