Registration Process for Applicants
- Filipino applicants must register in person at designated offices:
- Manpower Registry Division at the POEA Ground Floor
- Nearest POEA Regional Center or Extension Office (RC/REU)
- Designated Public Employment Service Offices (PESO) and DOLE Regional Offices
- The Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) will regularly provide the registry of applicants to POEA.
- POEA shall not impose any fees and will not authorize any other entity to accept registration applications.
Requirements for Registration
- Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Photocopy of NBI Clearance
- Photocopy of either passport or NSO-authenticated birth certificate
- Photocopy of high school or college diploma
- One colored 2x2 photograph
- Age limit: Applicants must not be over 40 years old by August 2004.
- Upon registration, applicants receive a registration certificate.
Selection and Screening Procedure
- Registered applicants are scheduled for tests and structured interviews.
- Notification of schedules will be provided by either POEA or the BLE, depending on where the applicant registered.
- Those passing written and interview tests proceed to final screening before the Korean employers’ interview.
Post-Selection Requirements: Medical Exam and Language Training
- Selected applicants must pass a pre-employment medical examination.
- Applicants also must complete a 10-day Basic Korean Language Training Course.
- POEA will issue periodic advisories related to the program through various media, including its website.
These guidelines aim to streamline recruitment, safeguard applicant welfare, and enhance deployment efficiency under the government-to-government EPS hiring arrangement with Korea.
