Documentation Requirements for Workers Bound for Jordan

  • For household workers, documents required are:
    • Request for Processing (RFP).
    • Workers Information Sheet.
    • Individual Special Working Contract for Non-Jordanian Domestic Workers as prescribed by Jordanian government, verified by POLO in Jordan;
      • Must state a minimum salary of USD 200 per month.
      • Must include repatriation of remains provision.
  • For other worker categories, submit:
    • Request for Processing (RFP).
    • Worker Information Sheet.
  • Requests for processing through POEA name-hire facility require submission of documentary requirements specified for name hires.

Repealing Clause

  • All previous issuances inconsistent with this memorandum circular are hereby deemed superseded.
  • This circular takes immediate effect upon adoption.

Legal Authority and Adoption

  • Issued pursuant to Department Order No. 72-05, Series of 2005 lifting the ban on recruitment/deployment of domestic helpers and unskilled workers to Jordan.
  • Adopted on March 23, 2005 by POEA Administrator Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz.
