Documentation Requirements for Workers Bound for Jordan
- For household workers, documents required are:
- Request for Processing (RFP).
- Workers Information Sheet.
- Individual Special Working Contract for Non-Jordanian Domestic Workers as prescribed by Jordanian government, verified by POLO in Jordan;
- Must state a minimum salary of USD 200 per month.
- Must include repatriation of remains provision.
- For other worker categories, submit:
- Request for Processing (RFP).
- Worker Information Sheet.
- Requests for processing through POEA name-hire facility require submission of documentary requirements specified for name hires.
Repealing Clause
- All previous issuances inconsistent with this memorandum circular are hereby deemed superseded.
- This circular takes immediate effect upon adoption.
Legal Authority and Adoption
- Issued pursuant to Department Order No. 72-05, Series of 2005 lifting the ban on recruitment/deployment of domestic helpers and unskilled workers to Jordan.
- Adopted on March 23, 2005 by POEA Administrator Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz.
