Covered Entities and Applicability

Vehicle Entry Requirements

  • No cargo truck shall be allowed entry into port premises without a prescribed and issued PMO Davao vehicle pass or sticker.

Parking and Vehicle Attendance Rules

  • Cargo trucks, whether company service vehicles or trucks for hire, must not be left unattended by a driver.
  • Parking in designated "NO PARKING" areas is strictly prohibited.

Violation Detection and Notice

  • Port police personnel are responsible for issuing a duly accomplished Notice of Violation for every detected infraction.
  • The Notice must describe the violation and circumstances to establish the appropriate administrative fine.

Penalties and Fines

  • 1st offense: Fine of One Hundred Twenty Five Pesos (P125).
  • 2nd offense: Fine of Two Hundred Fifty Pesos (P250).
  • 3rd offense: Fine of Five Hundred Pesos (P500).
  • 4th offense: Total ban from entry to the port premises.

Enforcement and Effectivity

  • The Order mandates strict compliance by all port users and concerned parties within PMO Davao jurisdiction.
  • It took effect immediately upon issuance on May 22, 2000.
