  • Section 17, Article VII of the Constitution vests the President with control over all executive departments, bureaus, and offices and requires ensuring the faithful execution of laws.

Legal, direct service, and assistance units

  • Section 1 establishes an Office of the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel which provides legal advice and assistance to the President and performs duties and functions assigned by the President.
