Policy, purpose, and intended governmental changes

Boundary line between Alicia and Tagum
- Executive Order No. 604 fixes the boundary line between the municipalities of Alicia and Taguma using the Hijo and Dumlan Rivers.
- Executive Order No. 604 provides that the boundary continues by a straight line from the source of the Dumlan River to the northeastern corner of the territory of the municipality of Tagum.
- The boundary determination is made effective for the territorial delineation of the involved municipalities within the Province of Davao.
Boundary line between Alicia and Pantukan

Seat of government transfer in Tagum
- Executive Order No. 604 transfers the seat of government of the municipality of Tagum from the barrio of Hijo to the barrio of Magugpo in the same municipality.
- Executive Order No. 604 characterizes the seat at Hijo as the legal but already abandoned seat of government.
- Executive Order No. 604 states that municipal government offices of Tagum were transferred temporarily in 1946 to the barrio of Magugpo, and the seat transfer formalizes that arrangement.
Amendment and immediate implementation
- Executive Order No. 604 expressly amends Executive Order No. 596 dated May 28, 1953.
