Funding Provisions for Construction, Operation, and Maintenance
- Initial funding for the construction and establishment of the hospital is charged against the appropriations authorized under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent operational and maintenance expenses shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Conditions Prior to Construction
- Prior to construction, the Secretary of Health must issue a written assurance.
- This assurance confirms that the hospital personnel will be appointed.
- It also confirms that funds for maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act becomes effective upon its approval by the President.
