Republic Act No. 6886 establishes a ten-bed municipal hospital in the Municipality of Aroroy, Province of Masbate, to be known as the Aroroy Municipal Hospital.
The Aroroy Municipal Hospital shall be under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services of the Department of Health.
The hospital is authorized to have ten beds.
Section 2 provides that the initial amount necessary to carry out the provisions of the Act shall be charged against the appropriations under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act. Subsequently, funds for the operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Secretary of Health must issue a written assurance that personnel will be appointed and that funds for maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
The Act took effect upon its approval on March 8, 1990.
The Act was approved by then President Corazon C. Aquino.
The purpose is to provide medical services through a ten-bed municipal hospital equipped and facilitated to serve the Municipality of Aroroy.
The initial funding is taken from the appropriations authorized under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
