Hospital Capacity and Level
- The hospital is designed to have a ten-bed capacity.
- It will function as a secondary level hospital, capable of providing intermediate healthcare services beyond primary care but not at a tertiary level.
Funding and Appropriations
- Initial funding for the hospital's operation will be determined pursuant to Section 40 of Presidential Decree No. 1177.
- The budget for the hospital's operation will be charged against the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131, specifically those intended for new hospitals under the Ministry of Health.
- Ongoing operational and maintenance expenses will subsequently be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Operational Responsibility
- The Minister of Health holds the authority to determine the manner and procedures by which the hospital will become operational.
- The Ministry of Health oversees the hospital's management and ensures that it complies with national health policies and standards.
Legal Effect and Approval
- This Act formalizes the establishment and funding authorization for the Elvin Masigan Municipal Hospital.
- The law was approved on November 11, 1982, thereby mandating the government to act according to its provisions.
